What is a birth doula?
The birth of a child is an exciting and sometimes stressful time in the life of a family.
A birth doula "mothers the mother." She assists the expecting mother and father in preparing for the birth of their child. The main role of a doula involves providing continuous support during the labor and delivery process through offering comfort measures and helpful information.
